If you haven’t heard of Juvia’s Place, then you are in for a real treat! The owner, Chichi Eburu, is a Nigeria-born wife and mother of two who launched her cosmetics company roughly 4 years ago. Currently, they sell super vibrant and pigmented eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, blushes, lipstick and brushes!
After seeing numerous videos from NikkieTutorials featuring Juvia’s Place products, as well as seeing some dedicated blog posts on MUFAVORITES, I knew this is one brand that I had to try out for myself!
I recently picked up three of the Juvia’s Place eyeshadow palettes, so today’s post is going to focus on the Saharan II Palette! I will be sharing swatches, details on all the shades and my first impressions of this palette!
Let’s get into it!
The Saharan II palette contains 9 super pigmented shades that include matte and metallic finishes. You can buy these directly from the Juvia’s Place website for $20 USD (approx. $28 AUD), however, I purchased mine from the Black Swallow website for $36 (I got free shipping as I spent over $100 and used the oh so handy Afterpay method of payment).
“Spice Up Your Eyes!!
Introducing the uber pigmented, hot and spicy Saharan II eyeshadow palette. Inspired by the rich colours in Moroccan spices, herbs, rich patterns and one of a kind heirloom of the Moroccan people.
Saharan II consists of a beautiful blend of matte and shimmer textures, that will transform you into a regal goddess.”
Marrakesh – orange toned peach with gold reflects
Aziza – champagne gold metallic shade
Hadiya – light brown with a copper shift
Berber – sea blue metallic shade
Nomad – burgundy/cranberry with a red/orange shift
Chefchaouen – icy mint green and aqua duo chrome with gold shimmer
Fez – deep brown matte with red undertones
Zohra – deep burgundy matte
Taza – dark burnt orange matte
Firstly, check out the size of those pans! I feel like I am never going to hit pan in this palette. I am also absolutely blown away at the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. Both the matte and the metallic shades impressed me so much and I can’t wait to play with it more! They are creamy to the touch and I can honestly say that there isn’t a single shade that lets the palette down in terms of pigmentation!
Have you tried any Juvia’s Place palettes? What other Juvia’s Place palettes would you recommend I try? Leave me a comment and let me know! 🙂
That’s all for now Beauties!
