My Makeup Collection 2019 | Part 2 | Concealer

Hi Beauties!

Today’s post is part two of a new series which will give you a look at my makeup collection. Today’s focus will be on my small (but mighty) concealer collection! Just a quick note before we get into it, I have combination skin (more oily in the t-zone area and drier everywhere else).

Let’s get into it!

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define (shades C1 & C6) – these are slightly newer in my collection, but boy am I loving them! I have already finished one of the tubes that I brought at the end of last year, and with the exciting news that this brand is going to be sold at Priceline for us Australian beauties, I know I will be picking it up over and over again.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (shades fair & light) – I feel like this concealer is a staple in most makeup collections. I love using the lighter shade to make me look more awake when I am rocking my natural skin as it is pinker based. I have lost count of how many tubes of this concealer I have been through over the years.

Maybelline Master Conceal (shades fair & light) – I have to admit that this concealer isn’t one that I reach for on a regular basis, however, when I do I am reminded why I needed it in my collection in the first place. It is slightly thicker than the Age Rewind Concealer and has better coverage also. The only part I don’t like is that it is a squeeze tube rather than a tube with an applicator, but I can see past that for the price.

Tarte Shape Tape (shade light neutral) – in the middle of last year I ran out of my lighter shade if this concealer so I haven’t used this one as often as it only works for me when I have fake tanned. Everyone loved this concealer because of its full coverage and I am no exception. If I wasn’t trying to use up the products I already have in my collection I would have purchased more shades of this already!

Maybelline Fit Me (shade 10) – to be honest, I think that this concealer may be featured in an upcoming declutter post as I hardly ever reach for it! Back in the day, I loved this product, it was always my go to. However, these days I don’t find that it does exactly what I need a concealer to do; make me look more awake, highlight my face and conceal any spots. I might give it another go soon and make my final decision.

Too Faced Born This Way Sculpting Concealer (shade swan) – this is brand new to my collection! I was lucky enough to receive some spending money for my birthday, so I lifted my spending ban and brought myself this concealer. I have heard so many amazing things about this concealer from so many people within the beauty community. Even though I have only used it a handful of times I have to say, so far I am loving it!

MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear (shade NW20) – this use to be one of those products that EVERYONE loved, but now I feel like MAC isn’t really talked about as much. I have gone through my fair share of pro longwear concealers, however, these days I find it a little too much for my under eye area. I love the full coverage and the shade matches my fake tanned skin really well, but the thickness of the product sometimes make my under eyes feel really heavy. Again, this might be one that I try out again and then make a final decision on.

L’Oreal Lumi Magique (shade light) – this is one of those products that you think are good in theory but doesn’t really live up to your expectations. I purchased this quite some time ago just to try out something new. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. It is very lightweight, watery feeling and has a lighter coverage than I am used to. But again, I am determined to finish this product up!

What are some of your favourite concealers? Which concealers would you like me to complete a full review and wear test on? Leave me a comment and let me know! 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
