Back in June this year, Jeffree Star released yet another Summer collection which had everybody talking. Within this collection came not one, but two eyeshadow palettes, a skin frost pro palette, six velour liquid lipsticks, three supreme frost shades, lip ammos, lip scrubs and the addition to his already large range of accessory and fashion products.
Although I have another post in the works which is dedicated to the amazingly colourful Jawbreaker palette, I wanted to give the Mini Breaker palette the shoutout it deserves. So that is exactly what this weeks blog post is going to be about! I have tested out this palette and created some fun looks that I wanted to share with you guys, and I will also be giving my thoughts and opinions on this product.
First up, some background knowledge on this palette so we can understand what we are working with. The Mini Breaker Palette is Jeffree Star Cosmetics first-ever 9-pan eyeshadow and pressed pigment palette. It comes with a great range of mattes, duo chromes and glitter shades. Two shades, ‘Bubble Gum’ and ‘Bite Me’ also come in the larger Jawbreaker palette. This palette retails for $28 USD (approx. $41.37 AUD) on its own or can be purchased in a bundle with the Jawbreaker palette for $75 USD (approx. $110.80 AUD).
I love that there was little to no fallout with these shades, which really means you are getting your money’s worth without too much wastage. There is also a slight bit of skin staining from some of the shades but that is to be expected when you are working with vegan eye products. I had no issues whatsoever when it came to blending these shadows. They all blended really well into each other without any patchiness and with high pigmentation.
If I am being perfectly honest, I was never planning on picking this palette up. My eyes were always set on the larger Jaw Breaker Palette, however, after seeing other reviews and swatches of the Mini Breaker Palette, I was happy to splash a little extra cash on the bundle just so I could see what all the fuss was about. Purple shades are some of my favourites but they are also notoriously hard to produce. This palette met all my expectations and more! I definitely recommend this for someone who wants to try out some Jeffree Star Cosmetics eyeshadows, someone who travels and wants a smaller colourful palette, or someone, who like me, is a dedicated collector of Jeffree Star Cosmetics products.
That’s all for now Beauties!
