My Makeup Stash | Highlighters

Hi Beauties,

Coming at you again with another ‘My Makeup Stash’ post! Today we are focusing on the highlighters in my collection. Highlighters are one of my favourite parts of the makeup process, which probably explains why I own so many! If you want to know which ones I do own, keep on reading.

My Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow Glow Kit has been such a favourite ever since I got my hands on it back in 2016. Although I only really reach for the two lighter shades (Bubbly and Sunburst), I couldn’t imagine ever wanting to get rid of this palette. Due to the fact that it is no longer available (that I can find anyway), I have really cut back on using it! This highlight palette contains 4 beautiful shades; Sunburst (light yellow gold), Golden Bronze (golden bronze) Bubbly (golden beige) and Dripping In Gold (medium yellow gold).

Similar to the Glow Kit is the incredible Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit. Again, this one is no longer available which really saddens me. I got my hands on this one back in 2017 and I plan on keeping it forever! Well until it is too gross to use anyway. It is more of a glittery highlight which is why I don’t reach for it as much as some of the other highlights in my collection, but I love it either way. This highlight palette contains 6 beautiful shades; Forever Lit (platinum with a lavender reflect), Kitty Kat (pink with a platinum reflect), Forever Young (pink pearl with a silver reflect), Daydream (coral with a white gold reflect), Glo Getter (champagne with rose gold reflect) and 143 (rose gold with a bronze reflect).

Next up I have four different shades of the ColourPop Cosmetics Super Shock Cheek Highlighters in the shades Flexitarian (medium beige), Honeymoon (light lavender), Perilune (light green) and Over The Moon (light lavender). I have had all of these highlighters since 2016 (is that too long, yikes!) and they are still in perfect working order. The texture of these highlighters is more of a creamy one which is why you would think they would dry up after all this time. But alas, I can still use them which makes me so happy!

Next, I have some beautiful Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors. Like most of the powder products in my collection, these have been around for quite some time. Due to the fact they are powder products, I still find them ok to use as they do not smell and do not have a weird texture to them! I have two shades; Pearl (light white) and Moonstone (light gold). Pearl is the most perfect shade for light skin tones as it is such a light shade, but it doesn’t leave a weird cast on the skin either.

Similar to the Super Shock Cheek formula, we have the Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter. I have this in the shade Transcendence (light pinky lavender). I don’t reach for this shade all that often and it is very similar to the Over The Moon shade from ColourPop, but it is just too beautiful to get rid of. I love using this highlighter as an inner corner highlight on my eyes as well as on my cheeks for a little something special.

Next up is the cult favourite Mary Lou-Manizer (warm-toned light gold) from The Balm. I feel like every person that is obsessed with makeup has either tried this or has it in their collection currently. It is such a strong and bold highlight, so it isn’t hard to understand why it is so popular. I am unsure as to how long I have actually had this in my collection, but I know it’s been a heck of a long time so it may be time to repurchase sometime soon.

One of the newer highlighters in my collection is the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Duo. This duo has the shades Lightning Dust (soft pearlescent sheen) and Fire Crystal (supercharged pearlescent shimmer). I have to admit that I tend to only reach for the more shimmery shade in this duo, but god I love it so much!

Last, but certainly not least, we have the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Liquid Frost highlighters. I have two beautiful shades; Frostbite (icy white with reflects of white pearl) and Frozen Peach (icy pink). As you can tell by the name, these are a liquid form of highlight. Liquid highlights aren’t my favourite and I don’t reach for these shades a lot. I still think they are stunning enough to keep for now though.

Do you own any of these highlighters? What is your favourite highlighter from your own collection? Leave me a comment and let me know 🙂

That’s all for now Beauties!
